MY WRITING

BECAUSE SOME STORIES JUST WANT TO BE WRITTEN

IT’S NOT SCHIZOPHRENIA WHEN YOU ARE A WRITER. …RIGHT?

dark fantasy & alternative history

RUDÝ BOHATÝR (THE RED BOGATYR)

My first novel that had been being baked for almost ten years: a short story which, from the very beginning, refused to be contained by a few pages in a magazine. Good things take their time, and I found out I’m not cut out for writing short texts.
This book is a showcase of my complex world crafted from pieces of real historical events, folklore, mythology and imagination of your witty word-witch.

Georgiy Zhukov is an ordinary farmer boy. Or… is he? A gruesome Great War made a man from him, and he had seen and experienced some odd things at the Eastern front. When he returns home, after his regiment had been disbanded due to political situation in his home Russian Empire, he gets seriously ill. It’s only after he visits a city doctor when he finds out he should be long dead.
He survived everything. So he decides no damn illness won’t get him. But as he digs deeper in his search for a cure, he realizes the world is not as it seems. And that he is ready to do everything to recover. Well, almost everything. Unlike some of his new-found friends…
